Over and out: Customer Insights - Journeys (Outbound) is shut down on June 30th 2025


Microsoft has officially announced the end of Outbound Marketing on June 30th 2025. (Link)



This is somehow the final stop for the Outbound module after more than 5 years since the re-launch of Dynamics Marketing as a competitive (CRM) Marketing tool. Microsoft offers a request form on their website for customers who absolutely need access to Outbound after June 2025: https://forms.office.com/pages/responsepage.aspx?id=v4j5cvGGr0GRqy180BHbRx9hKzbxKylJoglpY8Wxi6JURDNZSTgyUVFWUjJNSTlZMVpNUkNET1hFSi4u&route=shorturl But to be honest, this option will not last forever. At some point, Outbound will be removed for everyone to free capacity and resources for the Real-time platform.


 

Actual status


Here is a brief summary including my daily work experience which parts of Outbound can be transferred to Real-time easily and which may need further attendance or specific workarounds:
